Muppets and Mrs. Garrett hate

DIGITAL LIFESTYLE, INDEED: It has been nearly eight years I've waited for a sign that the world at large had embraced the worldwide web, for some indication that the global network was not merely ubiquitous but considered fundamentally useful by the populace. YOU TAKE THE GOOD, YOU TAKE THE BAD: While watching The Facts of Life, I have to admit I found her to be a bit shrill at times, but my dislike of the matron of Eastland Academy nowhere near approaches that held by the proprietor of I Hate Edna Garrett.

Hello. My name is Tony, and I hate Edna Garrett from the TV show The Facts of Life. I think she is a hateful hag and controlling wench, and my passion grows with each rerun of the show I see. MEANWHILE, BACK AT MUPPET LABS: After 25 years, The Muppets are finally getting their due with the release of some fantastic articulated action figures and playsets. I'm most excited about the Dr. Bunsen Honeydew figure and the Muppet Labs playset, featuring Beaker!! They'll look just great on my desk and feel right at home with my Prof. Frink figure. Glavin! Amazon has them in stock or on the way, so you can bet I've stuck 'em on my wishlist for a future order. (When they get around to making Statler and Waldorf figures, I'm ordering a set for all the local theatre critics. [bless Bill Jennings for pointing out these new toys]

S(CR)AM SEABORN? Rob Lowe will depart The West Wing this spring. Naturally, he wants more money so there's a slim hope the producers will pony up to keep the dashing deputy communications director Sam Seaborn around through the Bartlet re-election campaign. Speaking of: What happened to jedbartlet.com?! It was a great fansite for The West Wing that seems to have gone missing. This doesn't bode well for the grassroots support of the president! Update: Brian Landers writes to say that bartlet4america.org inherited jedbartlet.com's content when the latter folded. Thanks!
