‘Tis the Season

'Tis the season...: Here're a few old favorite December-related-holiday (oh, we are awfully ecumenical here!) links.

• The Christmas Price Index. Cost of partridges in pear trees? Down over 24 per cent since last year! Viva recovery!


• On a related note, we drag out our old chestnut -- which should have been roasted ages back -- The Twelve Days of Blogging. A 1999 travesty, complete with sing-along MIDI. How about a hand for all that linkrot, folks?


• But for us here in The BradLands, the holidays are all about the TV specials. Rudolph, Charlie Brown, George Bailey and our all-time personal favorite, Jesus!.

We also note with some regret that little progress seems to have been made on this year's not-resolutions. But hey, there are still a few days left in the old year yet.
