WWW DOA: After making hash of its online presence by spliting its site into three or four separate URLs and making an already cumbersome publishing process even moreso, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch has announced it is discontinuing its Community Websites program this August. This means the hundreds of local non-profits which relied on the P-D to host free sites for them will be home(page)less come fall. This also represents an enormous opportunity for another free or awfully cheap provider, should one come along. Hmmm...

WOO! My new iBook is on its way, baby! I'm pretty impressed, actually. When I ordered, they estimated my custom-built delight would ship in 10 days and it's been 10 days exactly. It should be here by Friday. Woo!

Some iBook-specific sites:
Remember Chris and Luke, the cute college-bound carved-from-cream-cheese friends who were seeking corporate sponsorship of their post-secondary education in exchange for becoming walking billboards for whichever company ponied up the tuition and made them their bitches spokesmodels? They found one. (My earlier offer to sponsor Chris — because he's "cheaper" — went unanswered.)

Need a wee window air conditioner? A diminuitive dishwasher? A tiny trash compactor? Check out Compact Appliances.

I just never get tired of Jesus!
