It’s been awhile

It's been awhile: While I'm attempting to wrangle a rather large project to completion at the office, I've had little time for much but work, meals and a bit of sleep. And the delightful but soggy Shakespeare Festival. And some shopping last Sunday. And taking delivery of some new furniture. But mostly work.

I can scarcely spare it but, nonetheless, I'm taking a little weekend getaway and then it's back to the grindstone. Is it Labor Day yet?

Meanwhile, yesterday marked the beginning of The BradLands' tenth year on the web and its sixth at this domain. With each passing 365 days, I intend to do something special to commemorate this august June occasion and every damn year it just sneaks right up on me. Anyway, that was the weblog that was, in all its pre-permalink, late 20th century glory.

Speaking of glory, I almost peed with glee when Lance resurrected Glassdog yesterday and brought along a few snarky pals. Way back when, the inestimable, inimitable, incomparable Lance Arthur was my number one web hero, and today I'm so glad to call him a pal. Heaven help my Visa card if we ever wind up in Barney's together.

I'm leaving far too much unsaid these days. That's next on the fix-it list.
