And we’re back…
It's just a few days past my August 15 target, but having coped with a busier than expected schedule and a persistent and crippling chest cold, it's practically miraculous there was only a week's slip in the deadline.Changes are afoot in The BradLands, and they'll happen in stages. Most noticeable right now is that the weblog — this page — has moved from the home page to its very own directory, and is now primarily generated with Blogger, the web-based tool I've been trying out for a few weeks on other site features. The weblog will still be the "town square" of The BradLands, but moving it around a bit permits me some flexibility to launch some new features I've been putting off for a while. Coming soon to the weblog: persistent links for easy access, 'cause all the cool kids have 'em.
The Daily Brad continues to serve up a buffet of tasty treats, essays, half-baked thoughts and underdeveloped notions, glimpses of my life. Thanks to everyone for the great feedback on this new feature. I'm having a lot of fun! Look for a few surprises in this section in the weeks to come.
Most of the other features you've come to know and love from The BradLands remain (check out The Lay of the Lands in the sidebar at the right), although new sections will be coming online gradually and others will evolve or be folded into still others. I'm having a blast learning to use some new content management features. The design, as always, is in flux and at the mercy of my meager skills. Stay tuned, kids!

WET DREAM: Kip Addotta's great comic song Wet Dream came up during chat the other night and, of course, he's got a website. The best part is that you can purchase his albums on CD now. Until I discovered this site, the only place I could find Addotta's material was in dribs and drabs on Dr. Demento collections. "Here's lookin' at you, squid!"
