Abroad in the land

You boys can keep your Southern Decadence. If there's a better place than Chicago, Illinois to be for Labor Day weekend, I haven't seen it. The Cards soundly whipped the Cubbies on Friday, and strolling Grant Park and the galleries of the Art Institute was a happy way to pass today. Further entertainments, including dinner at a favorite roosterant and taking in a show and then...er, whatnot, await tonight. And the weekend is barely underway. (If you're a Chicago friend or reader and want to get together, drop me a line. Maybe we can lift a glass somewhere.)
