And so it goes, and so it goes: Today's the final day of SxSW Interactive; the film and music folks take over from here and I'll be a little sad to leave town tomorrow before those begin in earnest. But the best thing about leaving Austin is that it gives me the opportunity to come back, hopefully -- and I say this annually -- before SxSW next year. All that remains is a convivial dinner with a few friends and the ancient and traditional soire at Bruce Sterling's manse. Oh, and tomorrow, I'll do a smidge of exploring before heading back to Bergstrom and then parts north(east)ward. Further bulletins as events warrant.
Izzle Pfaff!: "Actors are, famously and correctly, known for characteristics like deranged binge-drinking; an almost pathological lack of shame; a desperate craving for attention, even of the most negative sort, which is unfortunately at odds with a gnawing fear that at any given moment, someone somewhere nearby is being slightly more entertaining than themselves; and finally, in some remarkable cases, actual singing talent."
