After dinner, we trekked to Bouldin Creek Coffeehouse for the So New Media reading and hangabout. Unfortunately, the tiny joint was packed and the event nearly concluded by the time we arrived, but we passed a happy hour or so chatting before deciding to head over to the Omni for more drinks and conversation at the bar.

We stood in the cold waiting for cabs (Someone overheard the dispatcher calling "Code two!", presumably because there were at least two dozen of us departing at once) and huddling together for warmth.

Here's Rusty, Jared, Shaun, Ryan and Chris, among the last holdouts.

I have no idea why Shaun has that expression on his face, but I will point out that you cannot see Ryan's hands.
